Kidzrock Camp
You're Never Too Young to Rock!
The Music Studio is thrilled to be the 1st music school in Ontario to offer this exciting, innovative program. Kidzrock is a nationally acclaimed music program that teaches children how to play an instrument in the group setting of a rock band. Band members work together to learn, rehearse and perform on drums, electric guitar and keyboard while learning musical fundamentals and other skills including singing. Band members rotate on instruments as they learn the basics of each instrument in the rock band. Kidzrock features a colour-coded note reading system that is based on traditional, written music allowing children to immediately read music and play an instrument. Kidzrock also prepares children for private lessons.
The Kidzrock song book features instrumental rock songs written specifically for the program. Kidzrock uses modified instruments allowing children as young as 4 to participate in the program. If you are looking for a music program for a young child, this is the program for you! Instruments are provided by The Music Studio.
