Not at all — our studio is fully equipped. However, you’re welcome to bring personal gear if you prefer.
How long are recording sessions?
Sessions can be booked in blocks of two, four, or eight hours depending on your needs.
Can I book the studio for rehearsals?
Yes, our space is available for both rehearsals and recording.
Do you offer mixing and mastering?
Absolutely. Our engineers provide full post-production services to ensure your tracks are polished and ready for release.
Is the studio beginner-friendly?
Of course — we work with artists at every level, from first-time musicians to experienced professionals.
Can I bring friends to my session?
You may bring a limited number of guests. We recommend keeping your group small to maintain focus.

Looking to refine your jazz skills and perform with a group of talented musicians? The Music Studio offers Adult Jazz Band classes in Toronto, where students develop essential techniques like chart reading, soloing, and comping while playing classic jazz standards. Whether you’re a vocalist, pianist, guitarist, bassist, drummer, or a horn player, our Jazz Ensemble program is designed to help you master the art of jazz performance.

$41 per class (payable monthly)
60 minutes per session
The Music Studio, Toronto (Classes take place in our professionally equipped Band Room.)
Missed Classes – There are no make-up classes for missed rock and jazz band classes and other ensemble classes unless a class is cancelled by the teacher. Students who miss a class will receive notes regarding the class and any new music that may have been introduced in the class.

Chloé Dionne
Chloé Dionne completed her Master’s of Music degree at the University of Toronto. She is a singer, artist, and teacher passionate about sharing her love for music in every way she can. Chloé strongly believes in the importance of encouraging curiosity and creativity in a student’s musical learning journey while building a solid technical foundation, creating a positive personal relationship with music which the student can take with them outside of their classes. Chloé has extensive experience teaching music classes for young children and she brings her education, experience and enthusiasm to each of her music classes.

Reknee Harrett
Reknee Harrett is a music teacher, board-certified music therapist (MT-BC), accredited music therapist (MTA), and Neurologic Music Therapist (NMT) who completed their education at the University of Toronto Master’s of Music: Applied Music and Health Sciences (M.Mus.) under the direction of Dr. Corene Thaut. Reknee has extensive experience as a music therapist and music teacher for neurodivergent (Autism, ADHD, global developmental delay) children, youth, and adults, people with traumatic brain injuries, Parkinson’s disease, and genetic disorders, global developmental delay, intersecting diagnosis, mental health, elderly care, and mental health support. Reknee is committed to providing effective, holistic, and affirming music therapy sessions that value and celebrate each individual for who they are.
